Opportunity: 

BCBSNC had instances of incomplete or broken development updates. With 40 web portals, built on different platforms with internal and external development teams, manually validation and governance of these sites for analytics health was a challenge.

Process:

• Vendor options were narrowed down to two.

• Proof of concept conducted between ObservePoint and QA2L

• Create strategy for Planning and Setup, Implementation and configuration, baseline scans, testing, refinements, and training and deployment and communication to stakeholders.

Result:

• Allowed for proactive analytics implementation issue mitigation in pre-production, during the first week of post-production and with ongoing audits.

• Introduced automation and more structured analytics implementation processes.

• Decreased development related tracking breaks by 65% across all websites.
